Founder and Host

Joel is the founder of EV Geek Studios, and also serves as a host, editor, writer, scheduler, and more. Joel's journey into the world of electric vehicles began in 2020 with the purchase of his first EV, a Tesla Model 3. In 2022, he upgraded to a Tesla Model Y and expanded his involvement in the EV community by becoming Vice President of the Tesla Owners of Arkansas, later stepping into the role of President from 2024 to 2026. Later in 2022, his family added a Kia EV6 to their driveway, officially becoming an all-EV household. Joel now has a 2026  Kia EV9  and a 2022 Kia EV6.

Joel’s dedication to the EV movement was recognized in 2024 when he received the Rising Influencer Award from the Electric Vehicle Association for his impactful contributions and advocacy. He lives in Central Arkansas with his wife and two sons.

Sebastian clark

Host and Producer

Sebastian is a jack of all trades for EV Geek Studios, serving as a host, editor, writer, producer, and more. He is no stranger to driving Electric, with his electrification journey starting back in 2020 when he bought his 2013 Chevy Volt (which he basically never drove beyond its battery range). In 2023 he bought his 2019 Chevy Bolt EV, which he has since driven 50,000+ Electric miles with it. When he's not out driving cars and working on EV Geek stuff, Sebastian loves spending time in the woods, fixing things, or with his wife and daughter. Sebastian's garage now has a 2019 Bolt and 2023 Ioniq 5.
